Haim became a bird breeder at the young age of 12. He started with a couple of Australian Finches and continued with his first Glosters when he turned 15, for him it was love at first sight. He kept breeding Glosters until he was 18 years of age and then went on a break when he joined the army. He started up again at the age of 25 and since then he has been a Gloster man till this very day. In 2004 Haim managed to acquire his first Gloster from Nick & Annalain Barrett, the "Gleanriff"stud from Norfolk UK. His first winnings came in 2008 were he started to leave a good impression in the largest bird exhibitions in Israel. Since then Haim became a champion, winning the Israeli championship almost every year including the last one in 2011.

Haim has a stud of around 80 Glosters and he is helping others starting up.
He is also one of the founders members of IGC. (Israeli Gloster Club) and helped the club hold its the first show in 2014.
The club has been doing very well and each year the Isareli Gloster fanciers are growing in good numbers. Today IGC has about 45 members.

In 2017 Haim was listed to the IGBA judges panel in England - The first Gloster Fancy Canary Judge of Israel has a bright future ahead, and here is his first appointment - MALTA & the Golden D-Cup awaits Haim…
Malta wishes you all the Best Haim!!
